Starting from the Launchpad

Modified on Wed, 9 Jul at 10:47 AM

Each tab has a Launchpad that includes buttons and quick start items that will help you get started with that tab's functionality. The Launchpad will give some helpful guidance on how that specific tab is meant to be used. On a given tab (Generate, Canvas, Upscaling, Workflows), you can move on from the Launchpad by selecting another tab at the top left corner of the Working / Viewing Area or by generating an image.

Generate Launchpad

The Generate tab is designed for simple prompt-based image generation. The Launchpad offers two options for basic image generation after you select your base model.

  • Generate from Text - Use a prompt to generate an image.
  • Add a Style Reference - Use a Global Reference Image to influence the style and/or composition of your generation.

Canvas Launchpad

The Canvas tab is designed for controlled iteration in image generation and the Launchpad offers a number of options for getting started on the Canvas after you select your base model. Additionally, any image that you bring into one of these items in the launchpad will also resize the image appropriately for the Canvas and the model that you have selected.

  • Generate from Text - Use a prompt to generate an image on the Canvas.
  • Add a Style Reference - Use a Global Reference Image to influence the style and/or composition of your Canvas generation.
  • Edit Image - Add an image to the Canvas as a Raster Layer.
  • Use a Layout Image - Add a Control Layer as a starting point for Canvas generations.

Upscaling Launchpad

The Upscaling tool allows you to transform low-resolution images into high-quality, high-resolution imagery. The Upscaling Launchpad allows you to easily select an image to be upscaled and adjust the level of freedom you give the model in the upscaling process.

Workflows Launchpad

The Workflows tab contains the Workflow Editor that allows you to create a node-based workflow to control image generation by individual functions and image transformations, along with the Workflow Library that contains prebuilt workflows for common use cases. The Workflow Launchpad allows you to easily access the Workflow Library, start a new workflow, and upload an existing workflow.
