You can download and run the core software that powers Invoke locally on your machine for free! Invoke AI began as an open source project, and continues building and supporting the OSS community that contributes to the software's development.
To install the open-source version, visit our GitHub repository at github.com/invoke-ai/invokeai and follow the instructions provided during the install.
Please note that the open-source version requires some level of technical knowledge, and does not include the same support or cloud-related features available in our subscription plans. You will also need to ensure that your computer is powerful enough to generate images, and you may notice a significant difference in speed vs. our hosted offering.
